Have you recieved education? Do you have food you can eat everyday? Do you have water you can drink from a tap? If you said yes to all of these essentials, many children in South Africa, Malawi would think of this as "luxury", when it's really just basic human rights. 

Hi I am Luisa,
I think that every single person no matter who they are or  where they are should have the right to all of these things. I believe that no child should miss out on a essentials that we take for granted.

Socktober taught me that soccer is a game played around the world but is played differently in Malawi. Australia is lucky to easily access soccer boots, jerseys but most importantly a soccer ball but having something as simple as a soccer ball is not avalible fo kids in Malawi. So they use what they have old socks, plastic bags and string. Just so they can enjoy the little things. Socktober has change the way I think of soccer and not just to enjoy winning but the community, the laughs and the things I learn from it.
